Insights and recommendations for employers when recruiting

BCG published an article on success factors in recruiting professionals across borders as part of their latest study, which confirms a lot of what recruiters have stored in their belly fat anyway. But, as always, there are a few new approaches that make you think. And propping up the belly fat with numbers is never wrong!

In the article “What Job Seekers Wish Employers Knew,” BCG offers insights and recommendations for employers to better understand and meet the needs of job seekers. The paper suggests that employers should provide clear and transparent communication during the hiring process, including timely feedback and updates on the status of their application. In addition, employers should offer support for candidates who are relocating, such as helping them find housing or providing relocation packages. The article emphasizes that a positive candidate experience can help attract top talent and improve employer branding. The document also recommends segmenting requirements into personas with different needs to support a more refined sourcing strategy.

For me, the bottom line: how extremely important good, long-term onboarding is to also retain candidates and make the great work-life balance promised in the recruiting interview believable.
